LOST GARDENS OF HELIGAN

Heligan is one of the most mysterious estates in England. It has been part of theTremayne family for more than 400 years. At the end of the nineteenth century the thousand acres were at their peak, but only a few years later bramble and ivy were already drawing a green veil over this "Sleeping Beauty". After the devastating hurricane of 1987 and the unfortunate decades of neglect, the gardens have been restored by a huge team of workers. The award winning gardens are now internationally acclaimed. Extending over 100 acres of estate it really is wonderful to see these mysterious gardens back and blooming in full glory.
